The Key to Manifesting What you Really Want
Manifestation is such a hot topic these days, so what is it exactly?
Manifestation is the process of bringing what exists in our minds and hearts into our tangible reality.
We may think manifestation is outcome oriented - and in many ways it is. We dream of the 6 figure salary, traveling the world, and the ideal relationship. Yet, what we often overlook in the world of manifestation is that it requires us to evolve beyond our current identity into the identity of a person who believes she is worthy and deserving of having what she truly desires. That what she desires is in fact possible for her.
We may want a six figure salary for example, but if deep down we have limiting beliefs about money, there is less likelihood that we will manifest that salary.
“Why?,” you might ask. Well it’s actually simple. When we have certain beliefs, they inform our thoughts and actions. Let’s say your subconscious belief is, “Money is the root of all evil.” That belief will then create inner conflict. On the one hand you will see that money is necessary to survive, yet you’ll have a negative association with it that tells you it is bad.
This will likely lead you to settle for a salary that leaves you feeling you never have enough, or may cause you to compulsively spend the money you do have to get rid of it. Ultimately reinforcing the belief that money is inherently bad and that “I shouldn’t have money, because if i do, that means I am bad.”
With these beliefs, you may likely embody the identity of a person who can’t have what she wants, always feeling frustrated and experiencing consistent conflict in your relationship with work and money.
This is just one example.
Until we begin to see the stories we have playing on repeat, where they come from, and how they inform what we choose and how we live, we will likely continue to manifest the same jobs, relationships, and experiences into our lives.
The real beauty of manifestation is that the process requires we become more intimate with ourselves. It challenges us to ask ourselves, “Is what I believe true and why do I believe it? Am I satisfied with the story I tell myself about my life and who I am? Can I courageously begin to expand into a more liberated relationship with what I believe is possible for me?”
